Author Biography

Joseph M. Marshall III was born on the Rosebud Indian Reservation in what is now south-central South Dakota. A historian, educator, speaker, and the author of two collections of essays and a novel, Marshall has also been an advisor and actor in television movies, and a recipient of the Wyoming Humanities Award.
